Sabine Pass vs. Evadale Predictions?

I don't know about this one. Spreads by 5. Not going to pick a winner. If Sabine plays to there pace and level they win. If Evadale packs the inside and gets in and out of the press they win. Simple as that.

Even at home evadale is going to have to play mistake free ball to beat sp

I'll say sp by 8, to many turnovers for evadale in this one.

Good luck to both clubs

I agree with your turnover point court side.  Evadale sometimes has a ton of em.  If they limit the TO's, and come out defensively the way they did at HI; Rebs by 6.

I'm going w/ Sharks to add a win to their record, but watch out the Rebels may suprise u........they have all healthy, suited, & ready for a win @ home.  Don't think they will have big Tuck thou, I heard he will have surgery on his nose this week

HOPE AND PRAY THAT HE RECOVERS AND IS OK

Evadale needs this one and some help from WH to beat HD and they can make the playoffs. If they dont turn the ball over then they have a good chance. I still think that evadale can pound the ball inside and get them in foul trouble.

GOOD LUCK TO EVADALE IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THEM IN THE PLAYOFFS ;D

No disrespect to SP  :P

This match up will be a good one... Evadale is a very talented team... I dont think they are talented enough to beat the Sharks!!! The game is @ Evadale... The Sharks know that refs will not be making calls for them!!! That doesnt matter the Sharks have to many good players to lose this game ;) ;) ;)

Good luck to both teams

Im saying the SHARKS take the win by at least 10  ;) ;D ;)

It will be a great game.  Evadale is a very coached team.  Evadale coach is a great coach.  SP needs to stay disciplined if they want to pull the "W".  I smell UPSET!!!  SP does not travel well.  They lost to WH and Spurger on the road, good refs or not!  They need to play their game; Evadale can be explosive especially at home.  Good luck to both teams and play hard!!!  Driving for more points towards the end of the game when you don't need them may cause your team a 'W' and you may sit at home for the playoffs.  It's all about coaching!!!

Where will the game be?  I heard Evadale's gym was damaged by Hurricane Ike.  I must say that Evadale has one of the best gyms in Dist. 25.  I thought about going to the HD & WH game since I work nearby, but I think the game between Evadale and SP is more interesting.  Please reply Evadale fans, players, students, or faculties!!!

Thanks Vakidis.  I am a Dist. 25 fan.  After a long day of work, I would like to be able to sit and enjoy watching both teams play.  I appreciate your usual promptness in answering my question.  Good luck to Evadale tomorrow.  Play hard boys!!!

    • This is good info. It doesn’t really break out for student athletes though. LP & (I think) DP are open enrollment because of the way the towns intertwine. That’s the way it’s been for many years anyway. I assume it still is that way. The kids have a choice after Jr. High to go to either High School because LPISD has elementary schools in DP. As I recall, DP didn’t want to build out more (Robin Hood issues), and so DPISD & LPISD came to an arrangement because LPISD is one of the highest givers to Robin Hood in the state, and it helped both keep more funds in district. Of course, LPISD is open to all. Not just DP, and LPISD is rated well. So, I assume they have kids from elsewhere also. Not positive though. They used to have a lot because—for decades—DeWalt was the only dedicated public school in the GHA that specifically catered to special needs kids. Families from all over enrolled. But, they didn’t participate in extracurricular activities like sports. So, LP’s total enrollment made them 6A. But, they were really a 5A school all along for sports program sake. This is all as best as I can recall from when I was more involved in school issues. I’m sure a lot has changed since then. My kids have been out for 20 years.
    • Our playoff rivalry. They hold a 6-5 edge in the series. I think Newton continues the win streak in a hard fought contest. What say y’all?
    • Has Elmo gotten his aggy premature extension yet?  Pay him already because you guys were exactly right - he really does “get you.” 😂🤣
    • It’s been awhile, but I seem to remember 5 D starters out & 2 O starters out (OL). A big difference is that Simon wasn’t involved yet. He’s totally changed LP’s rushing attack from last year as a bruising, explosive addition to Barnes, Sandolph & Bright. Last year—and early this season—LP was missing that element. Now, Coach Berneathy is not making talented players wait like many other coaches & even his predecessors at LP. If the kid can produce at the varsity level, they’re moved up. And man, has Simon produced! Over 1200 yards & 20 TD’s in less than a full season so far! It’s allowed LP to alternate RB’s where Barnes doesn’t take all the pounding. Barnes and Sandolph are also able to split out as receivers as desired to add threats that weren’t really an option last year. The PNG/LP game was a full-on tilt & good for both squads. I remember Gary Joseph in the end zone giving his son pointers as an extra set of eyes since he’d had experience with LP in past PO matchups. That was a good game. The score wasn’t really indicative of the game. Not sure anyone felt it was over until the final whistle! Good luck to y’all in Cajun Country. Bring back a win for SE Texas. (Yes. La Porte is still SETX. Ha!)
