badndn Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 What's Utah Valley's record? I think they have proven lately that it doen't matter. I wouldn't worry about winning this game. I would play my young guys and get everyone else healthy for the stretch run. 2/14 = Do or die! And with games on the road at SH and CC, it will be a tuff chore!

Lazeek Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 AAW are you wanting me to waste my breath and give reasons??? A loss is a loss and nothing else to it. LU barely beat this team in the Montagne last year and the team LU had last year was better than this years team and now we are on the road. UVS 78 LU 69

There is nothing more to say. Lamar is just not that good, plain and simple.
KFDM COOP Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 How many are out with injuries? This was supposed to be a good year.
ame Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Hate to see that for Lamar bc went to the game last night and just tough year. Point guard for Lamar is a hoss but did not get much help last night. Good luck to the Cards for the rest of the season.
Guest coachacola Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Worrell got hurt again against SFA and missed most of the 2nd half and probably won't play Monday. With Nabors and Nwevo out for the year, it's hard to win with only a couple of big guys.
Guest mffl Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Worrell got hurt again against SFA and missed most of the 2nd half and probably won't play Monday. With Nabors and Nwevo out for the year, it's hard to win with only a couple of big guys. The problem is it's less than a couple! I hope Toolson doesn't light us up. I mean the guy has scored 61 this year, and he shot ridiculous last year. I think he could make his 3's with his eyes closed. The guy is unguardable.
LUFAN Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 I will not be mean to the poor folks of Utah today... but I am going out on a limb and say Toolson scores 40 points... But we win by 2..... Fingers Crossed.
badndn Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 If Toolson gets 40 we loose by 20! Can someone explain to me why Coy is playing less than 10 minutes a game in conference? Why did he play only 6 against SFA? He needs to be playing more and they need to get him the ball more down low. He is the only guy on the team shooting over 50%! And he works hard underneath.
LUFAN Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Custer is just so freaking soft... But I believe that he is still not quite over the injury that has been nagging him. But he is our only true big guy... I would like to see us play with a bigger line up for the rest of the season.. Dawkins, McThay, Hall or Worrell, Brown, Custer...
Lazeek Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 It is hard for LU to play a "big" lineup when you have McThay and Dawkins in the lineup.
LUFAN Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Our mini guards... I guess you could put Williams in there instead of McThay...
Guest abovetherim Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 HoopInsider, I totally agree.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 They are an indy team...8-3 at home and its just pointless. I know its scheduled, but man...You are supposed to win but does it matter if you do? A loss would be embarrassing. What if someone gets hurt?
Lazeek Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 This is the story of the Cards this season. You are suppose to win and you do not and the team is embarrassed!!!! This is just another chapter in the this pathetic novel of the Cards season!!!!
