Hitch Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Has anyone seen how the Southland Conference Football Teams rated with their 2009 Signings?
Guest abovetherim Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 I don't have that information but mffl reported rivals.com has NW State with the top recruiting class in FCS.
TexasTerror Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Same question was asked on KatFans.com... Rivals is an incomplete list -- does not have all the FCS teams nor for the ones it does have, have all the players signed on the list. Back in the "day" (a few years ago) - ShowingBlitz.com did a decent job with recruiting rankings and perhaps Sports Network did (can't recall anymore).
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 TT...Thanks for letting UH have your OL coach...He a good one? Heard he was.

Debatable -- but hey, whatever helps Rice stay atop UH in football is fine with me. Just waiting for "Tournament Tom" to fall behind Ben Braun in a few years as well...
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Wrong....Yes, close win on Saturday, but Rice will never surpass UH in hoops. Yes, they caught us in football this year but they will be back to 6-6 next year since their 2 studs are gone.
Guest mffl Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 I don't know about that one.. Braun is bringing in some big name players. It might make all the difference.
HoopInsider_Cooper Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 LOL...Braun???? He won't last past Bailiff.

As long as UH is on the bubble for the NIT and eying a berth to the CBI or CollegeInsider.com, it won't be much. Football-wise, Bailff will be alright for the long run. He lost Dillard and Clement as you mentioned as well as Casey, but I do not think Rice is going to fall too far off the deep-end. Seven and eight win seasons for the Owls would be something to be happy about for that program.
