Guest bleed orange
Lets see I heard 95-55 and also 167-12 by bullet (what a retard). Both of those posters are wrong. I would love to bet them money. easy there, turbo. just because you're too ignorant to get a joke doesn't mean you need to take it out on me. I am probably the most ignorant person you will meet. Maybe you should look in the mirror. Yes, I can take it out on you. Don't post something stupid. I bet I have your attention now. ;D the most "ignorant" person i know? yeah, that got my attention. you're the most un-ignorant jackass i know... and don't even act like you're an un-jackass. that would be a complete un-truthitude. Thank you for the compliment. How old are you? Two!!!! ;D ;D " Jackass" I have been called a lot worse. You have to do better than that.
bobcatpapa
we all know silsbee is loaded with talent and probably OF should have never been in this game, BUT they were and the difference was obvious. 1st half very few turnovers for OF. 2nd half i think they had as many turnovers as they did points scored. but i didn't see any effort until it was too late to stop the momentum silsbee was gaining. OF has some talent, but it seemed like all they were trying to do was shoot the 3 pointer. Silsbee quickness really got to OF in the 2nd half. Master T
This game was a whole lot different from when Silsbee play in the past games. They had the band out and had a big group (organization Upward) that had came out. This group were little kids from k-5 grade. They learn different stuff in this organization from what I heard. To have the band out was a lot different for them tigers tonight especially in the first half. O-Field I have to admit were hitting there three's in the first half and the tigers were getting some dirty calls toward them. The very first shot of the game O-Field made a three and was fouled on the call too. Right before halftime O-field tried to shoot a three near the halfcourt line and missed but was called for a foul again. I don't know how many fouls were called tonight but there were a bunch against the tigers. Once the second half started, I knew what Silsbee had to do in order to get back in the game. They had to play Showtime Tigers basketball. When the tigers defense came up in the second half, they made nearly every point in the 3rd qt alone off of fast break shot. They scored around 25 point that I know of. 4th qt was something else they just took over offensively and defensively. Overall Tigers did good wasn't their best game but a win is a win which I will take anyday. Overall the Bobcats came out strong, I believe that did was the best they have played in the first half this season what the games I seen them play. bullets13
i do very well at the casinos, thank you very much . didn't mean to misrepresent your age there. my sincerest apologies. anywho, congrats on your team performing better than expected. they were very impressive for most of the game, but silsbee just had too much at the end. i promise not to predict any more OF losses by totals of more than 25. HJ-Hawks25
That argument between bleed orange and bullets was almost as pointless as me punching myself in the face. However, i decided to read the whole argument because i enjoyed the aggression, but then was depressed at the end because it got so out of hand, i couldn't tell if its sarcasm or not. AggiesAreWe
Silsbee struggled in the first half as I think they were still coping with the fact that they may have lost a starter for the season during warmups. Prentice Lane, soph. starting guard went down with an apparent knee injury during warmups and initial reports have him with a pretty serious knee injury. Along with Lane being out, Silsbee also was without '6"6 junior post Avory Thomas, who was out with an illness. This was not the kind of start the Tigers were anticipating but to Orangefield's credit, the Bobcats took good advantage of that as they came to play in the first half. Silsbee never led in the first half, getting down as much as 10 points, 26-16. The Tigers cut the lead to 1, 32-31, with a 15-6 run with 3 seconds left, but the Tigers were called for a foul on Orangefield's Granger as he was attempting a halfcourt shot at the buzzer. Granger hit 2-3 freethrows to make the halftime score Orangefield 34 Silsbee 31. The second half was all Silsbee. The Tigers came out blazing in the third quarter as they went on to outscore the Bobcats 27-7 in the quarter. Silsbee had several steals and layups as the Tigers relentless defensive pressure took it's toll on the Bobcats. Silsbee led after 3, 58-41. In the fourth, Silsbee extended their lead to as much as 30, 72-42, with a 14-1 run with 3 minutes left in the game. Coach Williams then emptied his bench and sat the starters the rest of the game as the Tigers cruised to a 29 point win, 83-54. Silsbee outscored Orangefield in the second half, 52-20. Silsbee showed why they are the class of 21-3A as they overcame adversity in the first half and then destroyed Orangefield in the second half. The Tigers hopefully will get Thomas back for Friday night's game at HF and we will wait and see about Lane's injury. Good game Tigers, I was glad to be able to be out there to broadcast one for a change.

AggiesAreWe
Update on Silsbee guard Prentice Lane: Prentice suffered a season ending knee injury last night during warmups and will be out at least 8 weeks. Lane is a soph. guard who has started the last 10 games for Silsbee coming into the Orangefield game. Prentice was one of the Tiger's best defenders and Silsbee will definetly miss his athleticism from that guard spot. Lane was a vital part of the Tiger's success and will be sorely missed. I hope and pray for a speedy and successful recovery for Prentice and look forward to seeing "Petey" on the football field in the fall.

AggiesAreWe
I was very proud of the Tiger's effort in the second half overcoming the adversity in the first half. The guys came out playing Tiger Ball in the second half and that kind of team effort will spell much success for this team as we enter the playoffs. Great job, Tigers.
