Bobcat1 Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 I heard Diboll beat Kountze by 30pts. Evadale, I wish you luck against Kountze...but I'm thinking Kountze is going to come in that game with something to prove, and they are a LOT better than HF.

Kountze is very good,very good, but Evadale was 8-31 at the free throw line vs HF so played very good floor game. This will be a good test for the 1A school and prepare them for anything 1A can throw at them in the playoffs. Evadale has never been afraid to play anyone and will play their usual tough,aggressive defense and let the chips fall where they may. I can guarantee one thing it will be loud and playoff atmosphere, good for both teams. You have to respect all playoff teams at this time of year and these two teams respect each others programs no matter what class. They are both winning traditions.

So why didn't they play West - Orange in the championship of the Deweyville Tournament?

underarmor Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 yep, but you get very little out of beating a team three times in such a short period of time. Now if WOS would have made the playoffs it would have been a good warm up game to see which team has improved the most, However Evadale is getting what they want by playing Hamshire Fannett (3pt.loss at HF) and Kountze tonight at 4pm in Evadale. This should prepare them plenty for tournament game vs Ganado. Evadale plays any and all just check their schedule for the last 12 years.
