SteelerCzy Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Orangefield by 7, to big and strong for EC
Raider Fan Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Speed does kill but OF wins by 12.
DP#1FAN Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 This should be a real good game. Whoever turns it over the least will win.
BigTuna Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I say EC wins with speed, also tough at home.
Guest ECBucFan Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I remember a classic game about 6 years ago in OF. It ended something like 45-48 OF. Incredible contrast between teams. OF was like a bulldozer, steadily making 4-5 yards a play, grinding it out behind a big brawny line. EC would counter with a sweep, reverse, or quick pass over the middle, and look out, 80 yards of scorched earth later, 6 points. OF had a ridiculous clock advantage. It was also noteworthy that in 10 years of having mild mannered Andy Evans as the EC coach, he had to be escorted off the field at the end of the first half, boiling mad at the officials. What a game!!!
Bobkat Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Hey I'll never forget that game...it ended up 48-42 Orangefield. One of the most entertaining games I've ever seen in person. More like a track meet than a football game, with one big play after another. Below is a link to my website that list the last five games between these two teams. http://www.orangefieldbobcats.com/VarsityRoster.html
Guest ECBucFan Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Sprint events for EC, shot put for OF!
Guest Yard Bird Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 EC's qb is a stud. But if OF can play ball control, sustain a few drives they could win this one. Although EC is very tough at home.
