"We have the ability - if we play together and put forth our best effort - to win these next six games," said Tidwell. "If we do, I think it will give us a share of the title, but I don't think we can win it outright.

"At the same time, though, we can't lose sight of our main goal. We have to remember the Southland Conference Tournament is a one-team tournament - you have to win it to get to the NCAA Tournament.

"If we could place second (as they did last season), though, it most likely would get us into the WNIT, and that would be a tremendous accomplishment for our program."
