KFDM COOP Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Which seed will have the easier route in the Playoffs?
jmspears3 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Silsbee by 25...j/k ;D ;D I am not making a prediction...Hopefully both teams will make it of the game without any more injuries.
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 Navasota is in the way if you are the #2 seed, but I think both routes will have some tough teams. Liberty faces the #2 seed in the first round.
jmspears3 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I wonder if we will have the same 3 officials for this game also. They do a decent job of letting the kids play and also keeping the game under control.
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 I am hearing that they are using the Beaumont Chapter for the game on Friday. :o
jmspears3 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I am hearing that they are using the Beaumont Chapter for the game on Friday. :o Well there goes the neighborhood :(
Cowboy4jc Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I think it will be a really close game. Im going to hope for HJ by 5.
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I am hearing that they are using the Beaumont Chapter for the game on Friday. :o Well there goes the neighborhood :( Mr. Beaumont chapter official remember that was a Silsbee fan that said that, we at HJ think yall do a marvelous job......... :-*
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 Poppa it won't be the same without you on Friday night!!!! ;D ;D
PoppaBearstarr Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I know but this game isn't as important as the girls have Friday. :'( :'( :'(, I wish I could see both.

KFDM COOP Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Kountze/Kirbyville Girls play before HJ/Silsbee
Guest HJbaseball09 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I hope it is gonna be a really good game. Without DC the tigers might fall apart because he is one of the key players following Shannon Robinson. But i think HJ will pull it off.
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 Who said Silsbee will be without DC????
ST413 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 If we are without DC, it will be tough to pul it out. We can do it but it will take a great effort and keeping our big men out of foul trouble. We will have to slow down HJ's guards getting to the basket.
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 I hope DC is OK. He is a force on the glass and really makes a difference for the Tigers. If he is out then it will hurt them in their run for the gold.

We will have to slow down HJ's guards getting to the basket. i agree with you... without DC, or if he's not close to 100%, i think the hawks take it. if he's back and ready to go, and on a neutral court, anything can happen. it should be interesting. HJ has a much more effective gameplan to play the tigers now, but Silsbee will surely adjust to that as well. i'll say this is a 5-7 point game, and could go either way.
ST413 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Yes DC is a huge loss if he is out especially withot Lane already he is real good on the defensive end as well as being our guard with size. Starting two at 5'7 or so we really miss his 6'2. He could match up real well with the bigger guards. Our two "mighty mouse" guards can more than hold their own, but his size and speed is a great asset.
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 I think that Jacoby may have got into the head of Hill towards the end of the game last night. Hill is a phenom at finishing at the rack. He is fast as anyone I have seen moving with the ball. He is also the best trash talker I have seen in a while. ;D ;D
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 You need to watch the tape.......he pushed Turner and Burrell when the refs were not looking and talked trash for about 2 1/2 quarters. For some reason the last 1 1/2 quarters he did not talk to much!!!! ;)
ST413 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 I do not doubt that. I have seen a lot this year. He is good at what he does but he needs some improvement in a couple areas as well.
