Goodwin is a graduate of Center and has been the Wide Reciever's Coach at WO-S the last 2 seasons. He has been an OC at Anahuac and A&M Commerce.

Hooks is losing a lot of his staff - and maybe even more.
skipper Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 hooks is no fool believe me he has them just waiting for his call. the ONLY reason for them to pack and leave is the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.this is not new to wo-s just look back at there history. we can not blame these guys we would do the same ,this has been a open year for coaches to come and go cant blame them.as it was said yesterday these kids were mustangs at the age of 10 ,thay are what we call mustang family and already know the play book and its true.

KFDM COOP Posted February 23, 2009 Author Report Posted February 23, 2009 Center officially hires Kevin Goodwin Center I.S.D. has approved the recommendation of Kevin Goodwin as their athletic director and head football coach. Goodwin, a Center graduate who played college football at SFA, , "I am so excited about this opportunity, we need to get the tradition back at Center like we had in the late-80's, and most of the 90's," Goodwin continued, "And it's not going to be easy, it's going to take a lot of hard work, more discipline and we must get stronger." Goodwin, who has most recently coached the wide receivers the last two years at West Orange-Stark replaces Ron Callahan, who was 7-23 in three-years with the Roughriders. Goodwin has also coached at Killeen Ellison, Anahuac, Texas A&M-Commerce, Stephen F. Austin State University, and Central Arkansas.
