Dauphin gift boosts Cardinals football program

When Cardinals football coaches start mapping out their gridiron strategy in the future, they will do so in the Charline and Robin Dauphin Football Office Suite. The suite of offices will be part of the spacious new athletic complex to be built next to Provost Umphrey Stadium. Construction is expected to begin this year.

The office suite’s name recognizes a $200,000 gift to Lamar University’s Investing in the Future campaign from Silsbee philanthropist Charline Dauphin and her daughter, Robin Dauphin, through the Sidney and Charline Dauphin Foundation. The campaign, which began its public phase last year, is already more than halfway to its $100 million goal.
