The sharks could have easily won this one if they did not turn the ball over and made shots in the paint. Their D was good they just missed shots. :-\

# 30 # 23 and # 25 great game way to leave it all on the floor.

Congrats on a good season :)

Normangee's press won this one for them they forced alot of turnovers and got a few easy buckets.

I thought SP was gonna pull it off with a win, but turnovers killed them.  SP fans were great; the players tried their best and gave their all.  All starters but one will return next year.  They need to learn how to handle the press better.  It's called down-field, not chuck-and-duck.  Great job boys!!!  I truly enjoyed watching you kids play while working on the project, which will end next week and I will be going home (up North).  Again, the people of S.E. Texas are great.  Hope to be back one day.  Sign-0ff.  Will try to make to Spurger's game.

Guest THE SCOUTER

Sharks played a great game last night. They could not buy a bucket at all. #30 played with his heart on the floor last night, did not shoot the ball well so instead he took it to the rack. #21 also had a great game, was very relaxed and shot well towards the end. #23 hustled well last night, very good feet work but try to use your legs more than your hands on defense, great job son.

#24 missed some key lay-ups. He over shot most of them, seems a little nervous out there on the court. #25 did not have his average game last night, did not play up to his standard, he's a great player but just had one of those nights. #3 got in foul trouble early and was not an offensive threat, he too had an off game.

What killed the game was turn overs, fast break points for the Panthers.

Panthers played well as a team, there team chemistry is almost perfect.

You guys just need to get in a GOOD summer league and play as team.Take about 10 players and challenge each other to work on their weakness.#23 and #3 should be in a daily battle to make each other better.#3 has some potential but could be called for carrying the ball on every possession, the sky is the limit for #23 if he puts the time in the gym.People feed off his upbeat style of play(he even gets the crowd in to it).One of the keys for SP next year will be #21,he has a good shot but needs to be more involved throughout the game. The times that I saw SP this year he would hit some big shots and then disappear for a stretch. The only other observation I had last night is the fans while supporting the kids need to leave the coaching to the young man on the bench. Its great to be vocal and support the team but trying to tell the kids what to on each possession probably ended in Lil Dribblers.Overall I was pretty impressed with the Sharks this season, they were better than I thought they would be.Congrats on a very good year.

No comment on the game beside nobody played to there normal skill level

It was great seeing Spurger kids out there

Through suffering comes wisdom...next year we will be smarter.

Pick a ball up over these 8months and get ready for next season.

Congrats on a good season sharks.

my take on the the game is that the nerves stayed with you guys a little to long.

I never seen the real sharks, just for a few moments in 1st and 3rd.

Great quote your post.Learn from this game and then put it behind you and move on again

congrats, keep your head up and i'll see you on the court next season

Both teams played extremely well. SP had to play two teams at the same time, but that may just be my opinion. It was an extremely entertaining season. #23, you are fast, there's no doubt about that, and you have an amazing intensity as soon as your feet touch the court, but you need to work on the footwork a little bit. I'm not doggin' on you, it's just constructive criticism, take it as you may. Another thing that killed ya'll was not moving the ball around to the open man. Yes, making shots over 3 guys is impressive, but honestly, how many times will that bucket drop? Just some things to work on in the next year, i look forward to watching ya'll next year. Once again, congratulations on a terrific season.

    • SMH Silsbee will not tank against WO-S. Just won't happen. Mustangs were just that much better than Silsbee. Besides, #3 seed basically has to play the same teams as #2 seed other than first round. From what I saw with Sweeny and Brookshire, BR was the better team than Sweeny.
    • For sure.  They can take it to anyone if they want it, and if they play with the intensity that they had last Thursday.  Last Thursday game reminded me of the last 2 season's teams.
    • The numbers on those charts reflect all age groups and not just HS age Students. Another thing to remember,  some parents of school age kids might work in neighboring districts and choose to have their child in the district they are employed.  Not always the case but it is something to remember
    • We have a new apartments complex being built in Mont Belvieu. You’re going to need to update that chart.😂
