Jacoby Turner had 3 or 4 dunks and a perfectly timed Alley ooper to Burrell that looked like it had been rehearsed a thousand times.(Mr. Turner created 6 points in a little less than 15 seconds)  I know ST4life witnessed and would have given anything for Dicky V to have seen the same because it was better than any Ozen dunk this season by any stretch of the imagination even though it was in that little ole meaningless 3-a division where they really don't understand basketball.  Dicky, just contact Ira or Travis and see what they think or ask the two starting guards for the Tigers.

When the playoffs begin, one should be excited about any win.  The first half was a good one for Liberty and the second half was a great one for HJ.  I believe the final score is given priority over the halftime one, but HJ won both in spite of your attempt to trivialize the victory.  Why would you not be enthused about a 20+ point victory?  Anybody ever see a ref call traveling while a player is laying on the floor but still dribbling the ball?

I thought the alley oop that Ryan Donahoe threw to Trey Burrell two years ago at HJ was the best I have seen in high school for a long time..........then tonight when in a 10 second spurt Jacoby Turner gets a follow up dunk and then steals the ball and throws a sick alley oop to Burrell!!!!!!!  The roof blew off of the Dayton Gym at that point and the air went out just like it did out of the Panthers!!! ;D ;D ;D

Gee, it seems sort of bigoted to look down upon the excitement shown by some unknowledgeable  country bumpkins (who, by the way do not "really understand " the game and "the business" since that knowledge and deeper understanding is the exclusive property of a very few) about a game/play that they enjoyed.  Please note "property of a very few" is NOT gender, sexual, or race specific.  Isn't it more equitable for an objective and fair minded observer/commentator to allow the nescient to have their opinions respected even if only on the surface?

#10gwh is correct...... Nash you need to grow up and stop trying to cause trouble on this forum.........

HJ got the win and a few good dunks that is good... but that 1st half was not very good and blaming the refs is childish… If they show up like that against Navasota than HJ should just enter into a dunking contest instead… I think what HJ should be talking about on this forum is how to win against Navasota instead of talking about if ST4life saw a dunk at a HJ game cause he might get the last laugh if HJ gets knocked off by Navasota and Silsbee goes to state…

If you interpreted my comment about a double dribble call as complaining about the ref, I  would like to  ask you to consider your comment from an introspective standpoint.  To mention a double dribble while the player was still dribbling without, I might add, even mentioning the team or player involved is hardly a complaint about officiating.  As for "who should be talking on this forum about how to win against Navasota", I believe that is better left to the coaching staff as I am one of a very few here who truly believes the coaches are better qualified to have that discussion and leave the minor stuff to us.  I recently stated to another poster that the easiest way to illustrate absurdity is by being absurd.  If that concept is within your grasp, surely you will better understand my thoughts/posts.

::) That is fine but rather than ranting on about a dead supposibly humorous subject maybe you can talk about more interesting points rather than showing your immaturity and continuously pointing out a person on this forum...

Nash...You need to quit calling out someone, who is not a member on here anymore, in a lot of ways you are as immature and childish as he was.

Good luck to the Hawks against Navasota.
