Miles is leading the way with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.  UTA is only shooting 33% from the field.  If they can keep playing defense in the 2nd half they'll be in good shape to win.  Both Texas State and McNeese are losing their games so this would be a big win for LU in that regard.

Crowd was dead....LU took the wind out of UTA sails early, especially right after half.

Both Texas State and McNeese State lost so LU is now all alone in 7th place.

UTA only shot 33% so chalk this win up to good defense and a big game from Anthony Miles, who played 40 minutes and scored 24 points.  McThay had 20 points.  Brown had another solid game with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 blocks.

With Miles being a freshman and having 3 more seasons I am excited as to what he will bring in the next few seasons.  If he had a 3 point shot like McThay and Dawkins then he would be so dangerous!!!

I think Ash Wednesday took a toll on the crowd tonight. Great win, UTSA got beat at home by NWST. so if we beat them Saturday, we'll be tied with them!

Well despite Anthony not having a 3 point shot (I think he'll develop one tho), teams still defend him on the the perimeter, which leads to him blowing past the defender and getting an open mid range shot, which is money with Miles.
