court side Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Outstanding job pirates My hat goes off to thorndale, this team just would not go away. Just when i thought spurger had them on the ropes and was going to pull away the bulldogs would make a run and make it a 4 0r 5 pt game.Thorndale had no answer for #12 and #10 " set the pace of the game.Over all great team def.

ballergirl08 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 GO PIRATES!!!! Spurger played an outstanding game!!! Got to give it to Shain Rawls(#00) for his phenomenal defense, and Daniel Blankenship(#34) for such great leadership he has in that team. George Whittaker(#12) is an great positive influence on the team, and that was the best game I, myself, have seen him play!!! John (#1) has stepped it up a lot, too! ....Well Great job and can't wait to see Bremond game...good luck!!! ;D ;D ;D
Guest THE SCOUTER Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 If you can build a team around a true center. Then you're looking at a great team.
court side Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 If you can build a team around a true center. Then you're looking at a great team. Who is a true center, if you talking about #12 he is more of a forward or two guard than a center and if you this young man well enough you would get a ugly look if you called him a center.

It is hard not to call #12 a center in 1a and he is about 3 to 4 inches taller than the next tallest guy on his team. 6-3 in a post if not center in 1a but not at a higher level 3a+
Guest THE SCOUTER Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 In 1A he is much considered a center. I have seen him play trust me. He is not quick enough to be an average guard. So like i said, he is a center in 1A.
