HJ2012 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Hopefully HJ can take care of them on the hardwood to make up for losing to them on the gridiron.
HJ2012 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Burrell and Turner were on the HJ football team, so you know they'll be looking for revenge!
HJ2012 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Does anybody know anything about Cleveland's size?
Guest stevenash Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 Does anybody know anything about Cleveland's size? I know they have a 6'5" guy who is supposed to be one heck of an athlete. Also heard they only suit 7 or 8 players
Guest hjlonghorn Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I also heard that their 5 starters are 4 sophomores and a junior? Is that possible?
Guest stevenash Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I also heard that their 5 starters are 4 sophomores and a junior? Is that possible? Is there any truth to the rumor that Cleveland has a great point guard known as "little Smokey"?
no-look Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Burrell and Turner were on the HJ football team, so you know they'll be looking for revenge! Please dont throw any f words around at such a special time as this....... ;D
Master T Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I also heard that their 5 starters are 4 sophomores and a junior? Is that possible? They actually start 5 sophomore. IDK what they call him but he run pg pretty smoothly against Baytown Sterling earlier this year. Does anybody know anything about Cleveland's size? I know they have a 6'5" guy who is supposed to be one heck of an athlete. Also heard they only suit 7 or 8 players That is right. There big guy is pretty good in the inside game and shoot free throws well. I don't exactly remeber how many players they suited but I know it was something like that during district but it playoff now so they may have some more.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Cleveland has a great point guard known as "little Smokey"? When Cleveland beat Silsbee tried to tell you guys that Cleveland wasn't that good.. Robinson had broke hand and Silsbee missed 26 shots in the paint and 17 free throws..They have not played anyone since then and we have all seen cold springs and liberty play..Absolutely no reason for Hj to be overly concerned about CLeveland ...they are just ok...HJ absolutely beats CLeveland
Lazeek Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I can assure you that Cleveland will be taken seriously. They will not be overlooked. This is the Reg. QFinal round and anything can happen. You take it one day at a time.
no-look Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 We played HJ and Cleveland this year. About the same result for both games. Both shot the ball extremely well from outside. Clevelands big does a good job down low and #22 can light it up from outside. I must give the edge to HJ because they are playing well and have playoff experience.......72-67.
bullets13 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 i'll continue my reverse jinx trend. Cleveland by 4.

w518991 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! wasn't telling you not to take them seriously ..just to don't read all their headlines.. they are are ok..not a powerhouse
Lazeek Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I know what you meant. I just do not HJ to over look anyone!!!!!! Take everyone serious.

Lazeek Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I am hearing of about 4 different places that this game could be played. Give me your thoughts. --Kountze --Woodville --Lee College --Ford Park I would prefer Ford Park or Kountze.
