Guest curtissimo Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 After the first few games, what teams are looking really good?
EAGLE07 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Locally Dayton and Crosby have looked strong. Nederland has looked solid at times. Barbers Hill looks solid, ignoring their meltdown against Columbus. Region III 4A, Brenham and Lamar Consolidated look like the teams to beat. Brenham, although young, looked to be loaded again. They swept the Round Rock tournament.
JS Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Dayton is hitting better now than in several years, pitching is as deep as I can remember---couple of sore arms but strength will improve. The one weakness is defense---to many errors but it is early and I'm sure that will be rectified. Overall we are much improved and not the door mat we were last year---Coach Jeff Stewart is doing an amazing job.
Guest rambleonus Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Kpark is 4-0 right now winning the 3A Slendora tourny. Can't tell how the team will be because we didn't play anybody. The hitting is not there and we don't have anybody throwing over 80. Hopefully we will compete when district rolls around.
