sabinebball Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Bracket looks like it has pretty much went as scripted. WO/Arp game could have went either way. Shelbyville is the 3rd place team but the Houston private school district was horrendous. I saw Franklin before our game defeat Jefferson and they are a well rounded solid team. No "easy" games left (except maybe Newton game). Now you have to bring it every night or go home! Looks like any of the 8 teams left would make for a great regional tournament.
TopDawG52 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 i'm going with Kountze vs Arp and Sabine vs Newton... Regional final... Kountze vs Sabine...
24 over par Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 this regional tourny will be very competitive
whsalum Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I'm surprised the UIL has let the Prep schools in the playoffs. You never know from year to year what they will have because they play by a different set of rules than the public schools. This year they have been awful next year they could recruit the world, you just never know.
whsalum Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I think it's: NW vs Arp Newton vs Sabine NW vs Sabine in the finals with NW making a return trip to the drum. I hope I'm wrong because I'm pulling for Kountze and Newton.
