ownowbrowncow Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 you gotta give it up to hj though they played a great game jus came a lil short. . . . the pitcher was fantastic
JS Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 that pitcher was very good---if they had a closer they would have had a victory
SOFTBALL MOM Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Thought the closing pitcher did all he could I hear he's a Lefty that just got brought up to "Varsity " sound like he has something GOOD going for him. Let's keep our eye open for him and see how he does further in the season before we send him sailing...... Lefty don't know your name but hang tough play hard and keep them swinging"

PURPLE 4EVER Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 that pitcher was very good---if they had a closer they would have had a victory Was the game tieing double an error on the 1st baseman? Was hit solidly, but didn't see if the 1st baseman had a shot at making a play. If he was able to make a play on the ball, the game would have been over. The pitcher that went in only gave up a fly ball for an out, but it was deep enough to get the sacrifice run home.
