Guest shooter1709
poor at bats and overall hitting caused this unfortunate event. BH otherwise looked great both defensively and with pitching. However it was a great game to the end and just happened to swing in favor of Manvel at the end.
Guest etbu
Is Manvel four or five-a? Hard to believe that area has blown up like that.

BHFAN
Manvel rallies for 3-2 win over Barbers Hill MANVEL – Tony Carmona’s two-run homer scored Heath Padgett, who had singled ahead of him, to give Barbers Hill a 2-1 third inning lead Tuesday. But the Eagles didn’t score again and fell 3-2 to Manvel, with the home team scoring the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. The loss dropped BH to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles play in the Ewell Jackson tournament this weekend, beginning with a Thursday game against Aldine at Fort Bend Elkins. Barbers Hill had five hits Tuesday, including doubles by Matt Peterson in the second and Colby Henscey in the fifth. But their teammates couldn’t chase either run across home plate. Alex Rocha, 1-1, went the distance for the Eagles, allowing just five hits while striking out four.
RIP09
Great game to watch I just didn't like the outcome. Both pitchers had very good games. BH let way too many opportunities slip away with runners in scoring position and I'm still trying to understand why we pitched to the kid that had the game winning hit. ??? ??? It just didn't make much sense to me. I guess that's why I'm not in the coaching business. Maybe there was more to it than what I saw or understand. Guest etbu
When I saw the score I thought 2-a Manvel ? Forget they are four-a but were their fields pretty nice? Hear they have an heck of a facility.

Hear they have an heck of a facility. Outstanding facility. One of the best playing surfaces around. From the looks of the addition to their school, they may not be 4A very long.
