Gametime23 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 That is a sad story. Fans and media humiliating him like they did shows nothing but the fact America is getting worse. We have resorted to disrespecting people to make ourselves feel better and become popular with our peers around us. This could ultimately be the demise of our nation.
elhector1 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 "Why, if he can't take it, he shouldn't play the game"..."he was weak"..."he should have bucked up and gotten strong"...can you hear all the morons already, the guys who sit in the stands, and complain, and moan, have never set foot on the field, yet know EVERYTHING? Please, please, repeat after me..."It's a game...it's a game...it's a game..."
Tallboi Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Doesn't matter if he should have delt with it on or not. It wasn't worth ending your life for. This is sad that i was made into such a big deal.
hornet06 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 His death was accidental. It was a heroin overdose...mixed with a few other drugs and lots of alcohol. The sad thing is, this guy showed all the signs of depression before and after the trade, and he had a past history of drug addiction....but no one really seemed care enough about him to call and check in on him occasionally. He quit the team a short while after the trade, and he had been dead for weeks before the reporters found the story and let the team know. So much for teammates these days, huh?
