Tuesday: The Lady Bears lost to PNG 7-25, 18-25, 14-25. LCM is now 7-7 overall and 1-1 in district. BC girls defeated Hardin Jefferson 25-23, 25-18, 25-17 to improve to 1-0 in district and 7-9 overall. Silsbee beat Orangefield 17-25, 17-25, 21-25. OF is now 3-3 for the season and 0-1 in district. Freshman Aimee Scales had an outstanding performance coming from the bench to score 4 kills. Paige Roy led with 5 kills and 3 blocks. Laura Riddick served 2 aces and came through for 5 kills. Kristy Sanders added 3 aces, 3 kills, and 14 assists.

Barbers Hill traveled to Forest Brook for their first encounter in District 21-4A and came away victorious. The Eagles won by scores of 25-7, 25-0 and 25-5. In the 25-0 game, Meghan McCoy set a school record in serving 25-0 straight points. BH is record is now 1-0,13-5. The Eagles will travel participate in the Dickinson Tournament on Thursday before playing their second district game at Huffman-Hargrave.
