hfaninthestands Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Since polls are the theme of the week, might as well add another one... this is like american idol, most votes wins....
Guest Yard Bird Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Gotta give the edge to the Panthers. Hats off to the Horns last week.
NeverSayDie Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Trevan Beatty and Josh White's rushing will lead Liberty to victory
Guest Jody Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Liberty should win this one. If your going to beat Liberty you will have to stop the Option. They run it A LOT and do it well. Also, watch for receivers and/or backs to throw the ball deep. They usually have at least 1 trick play up their sleeve per game. You might even see a fake punt.
Guest BLADE Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 JODY, YOU NEED TO BRUSH UP ON YOUR FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE. LIBERTY IS NOT RUNNING THE OPTION THIS YEAR. THEY ARE RUNNING THE WING T.
vp93 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I do not know what Liberty is running but the last I knew thewing-t is an option formation. You can definatly run other schemes out of it, but primarily it is an option offense.
cardinal81o7 Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 hf should expect to see the dive and quick pitch all night, their dive is tough to read for the lb's
hfaninthestands Posted September 7, 2006 Author Report Posted September 7, 2006 Well, Looks like another upset this week... HF Horns 17 Liberty 7 Home game with SRO crowd, just kidding. Horns graze this one out...I love puns..

Liberty Hill has shown how good it can be if run properly. It takes a great deal of practice to master the 3 back sets. Lot's of deception with the ball. Liberty will do well with this. It does help to compensate for lack of size on the O-line. Smaller backs can move the ball due to the multiple options the linebackers need to be concerned with.
3ABirdMan Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 JODY - You're scaring me! This post is about football, and sounds intelligent! Keep it up, and you'll actually gain some respect from some of the other posters! You don't want that to happen, DO YOU?
EDBLU Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 HF will put two halfs together. Offense, Defense, and Special Teams will roll. HF WINS 21-17.
Tha Choosen One Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Liberty Should have killed HF they werent ready to play at all....
hfaninthestands Posted September 11, 2006 Author Report Posted September 11, 2006 well thats why we have a scoreboard and not a shouldhave and couldhave meter
Wes57 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 You are right, Liberty wasn't ready to play but Hamshire Fannett had alot to do about that. HF defense was really tough and shut down Liberty totally.
