It was an ugly result, but really it was 2 bad innings for our pitchers. We gave up 5 in the 1st and 5 in the 6th. Daniel Mitchell did a great job of pitching 2 2/3 innings allowing only 2 hits and 0 runs. We had climbed back into the game at 5 - 2 before he was pulled to start the 5th. I honestly believe we would have had a chance had Mitchell been able to continue. Like I said, it did end up ugly though. PNG did hammer the ball in those 2 innings!
