Guest coachacola Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 The Lamar University baseball team played its first road game after a 16-game season-opening homestand and suffered a 10-2 loss Friday to Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark. The Cardinals won 14 of those 16 home games and ascended to a No. 23 national ranking, according to Collegiate Baseball newspaper. But Friday, Central Arkansas starter Jeremy Cloud handcuffed LU to just two extra-base hits and tossed his second straight complete game. http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/local/lu_baseball_drops_first_road_game__played_after_16-game_homestand_03-13-2009.html
