24 over par Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 5a games in austin always turn into wwf matches it is a shame all the talent involved and the officals let them mug each other nearly to death
stealthninja Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Milson (Cedar Hill) DRAMATICALLY outcoached by Dyer (DeSoto). Why in the wide, wide world of sports didn't CH's best player (Glover) get more touches? Milson INTENTIONALLY did that. Very bad coaching decision. Dyer's rep as one of the top coaches in Texas bolstered.
Wildcatter Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 The game was horrible, was one of the most boring games of the tourney. The kid from Desoto was one of the best in the tourney on and individual level. He took over the game.

The kid from Desoto was one of the best in the tourney on and individual level. He took over the game. The kid took over cuz DeSoto subbed in their #2 big with #1 big at same time and the new matchup took CH's best defender (Glover) off him. Then he went wild. Outcoached. Plus CH's Glover is a STUD. But not enough touches ON PURPOSE. Bad coaching decision. Best coach won. Defensive contests in pretty much all sports are boring.
Wildcatter Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Did not think the #2 big man was that impressive. He never looked for his shot despite a huge mismatch. The other kid played well and took the big kid for CH out of his game early.

The other kid played well and took the big kid for CH out of his game early. Agree, DeSoto's #2 big was not impressive. Never said so. Said that that by playing both bigs at same time gave Desoto the desired matchup. Great coaching move. Also, CH's big kid is NOT their best player. The best player (Glover) got game planned out of the touches by his own coach.
