High Island is losing 5 seniors off of last years team.  They could be a team to watch out for.  They lost Tiner George (QB and safety), Trey Hall (TE and LB), Donald Hooks (FB and DE), Colt Hughes (OL), and Joey Manuel (OL and DL).  We are losing 5 starters on offense and 3 on defense. 

With all the talk of Burkeville getting all of these kids back because Harper has come out of retirement sounds a little like transferring for athletic purposes.  Granted it might take a year or two but Burkeville will be back up.

I can buy that joeb...cant wait for two-a-days to start so we can get a look at the new team, really can't wait till the first "midnight madness" full pad workout.  Hope we get 45 or so out again this year a bring another title to The Battle Field.

If that gives you a headache just wait till season starts. We were plaining on playing 7 on 7 today at WH that got washed out ..To bad Was looking forward to seeing how we were going to look this next year.

I think Chester will be alot better this year. They return everybody in their backfield except for one, and they should be pretty good sized up front. I think they could be a sleeper and possibly fight for third place. Good luck to Everybody tho.

i see it pretty close between the top two teams.  i think Evadale will come out one top mainly because of numbers with HD a very close second.  if Evadale has a misstep, HD will thke the crown back.

third to me gets a little tricky, WH is the logical choice but HI made big gains last year and may have gotten close enough to want a piece of the pie this year.  chester looked good, a times, and terrible at times last year.  if graduation didnt kill them, it may be the yellow jacket team in this year.

my gut,  Evadale,  HD,  WH.  good luck to all.

You must be talking about another IDIOT because this one never said anything about speed demons on the Evadale team. I said we had big tall receivers that can all catch the ball and smaller D Backs are not going to be able to stop all of them And we Have a QB that can get the ball down the field. IMO I think if he throw'es the ball up we will be able to go up and get it. JMO It will be a new Off. for Evadale and all this is yet to be seen. But if we cant throw the ball we will not win Dis. this year. But if you can show were I said we were full of speed this year you will have to show it to me. But I can name the 3 big players we will have this year. So if you would like to set down with this idiot and talk about it just let me know when and were I promise I will show up ;D
