Congratulations to everyone and especially to the Tigers that were selected and, of course, Coach Williams.
setxslam Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Garrett Gustafsen's name does not appear up there. He was certainly HJ's Newcomer of the Year. The PG in the HJ system gets run ragged on D-- probably expends more energy on D than in any other system-- and sophomore Garrett G did a great job. He got better as the 44-game season went on. Job well done, Garrett!
know all Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Congratulations to all the Seniors on this list and in this district. Like I was told my senior year "you spend 18 years wanting to get out and the rest of your lives wanting to go back." The most important things aren't what you accomplished on the court but the lessons you learned on your journeys. Good luck to all in the future.
Master T Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Not to bash no players or coaches but I think that if Shannon Robinson was MVP then Coach Sutherland would've been coach of the year.
Lazeek Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I think it has been said many times that either Benard or Robinson were good choices for MVP, as long as the other got Offensvie MVP. I think that it looks good all the way around. Travis is a good coach and deserved it.
Lazeek Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 Yes, McLovin I know that it eat's you up inside to see Benard at MVP instead of Robinson. IMO you could not have gone wrong with either one................but the Coaches have spoken!!!!!!!
