torbush Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 Is this a serious topic? Silsbee's gona get demolished.
Guest Newbie Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 It will be a hard fought game. PNG should come out ahead, but not by much. Silsbee has a good keeper and some decent scorers. I don't think their defense is as good as PNG's though. Goodluck to both teams.
weasel Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 Nederland 4-0 over Hardin Jefferson tonight! Congrats to the Nederland Girls! How did Silsbee fare against Hardin Jefferson this year?
Tradition09 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 The first Goal PNG scores tonight will be their 100th goal this season!
dillard Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Nederland 4-0 over Hardin Jefferson tonight! Congrats to the Nederland Girls! How did Silsbee fare against Hardin Jefferson this year? HJ Girls beat Silsbee in the 1st matchup and lost in the second in OT/shootout
ballin96 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Silsbee actually won in overtime. There was no shoot out. Good luck to both teams tonight.
jaskeep Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 I don't recall playing PNG...but those silsbee girls are a bitchin' team. One girl on there will stop at NOTHING to make sure you're down on the ground..it should be intresting..
weasel Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 PNG is very fast..she may have a hard time catching them....
DoctorDave Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 In the 1st game between these two teams (which was in PN-G stadium), the score was 1-0 for PN-G. Silsbee showed that they can definitely play with PN-G. Let's look forward to a good game and pray that everyone comes out injury-free.
torbush Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 She'll have to take out all the gals on the field and the girls on the bench for them to have a chance. haha
Guest setxgal Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Hey. Weasel, can you keep us updated on score ...can u access the site from cell phone. I won't be able to goto game but am curious about it. If so, thanks, if not , then I will wait til end like everyone else. Play safe.
weasel Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 I cant update from my cell, but will update this site as soon as I get Home...As far as the post by Doctor Dave...you are correct on the 1-0 score during the PNG tournament...but that was a team of JV and some of the Varsity that they played. PNG put two teams in the tournament due to some cancellations. The other PNG team won the entire tournament outright undeafeated and beat the powerhouse 5A Cedar Hill in the championship 3-0...We also did not allow a goal throughout the entire tournament.
Tradition09 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 We played them with the varsity team in a pre season game. We did win 1-0 but for some reason they were a little off, things were just not clicking. I expect the game to be a much higher score this time around, especially with PNG's new stragegy.
FriendswoodFan Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Hey Weasel, Cedar Hill is NO powerhouse. You are dreaming my friend.
weasel Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Friendswood...I have loved having you join this forum...but you are very confident in the fact that the Indians are going down "somewhere" in humble agianst Brenham...was we pull that upset..our sights will be on Midway then Friendswood...hope it happens but I know as well, you have to play the game!
ballin96 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Actually, PNG and Silsbee had played twice this season before tonight. Once was in the PNG tournament. That game ended in a tie, and Silsbee actually won in a shootout. It was against PNG's combination team of varsity and junior varsity players. The second time the teams played was in the preseason. That game was 1-0, it was the varsity teams from both sides. Congratulations Lady Indians, good luck in the playoffs.
