both teams played well... few errors at the end by HI cost us the game but evadale played great it was a good game all around... good luck to both teams through the rest of district... cant wait to see how the second game is gonna turn out its gonna be another close one.

the final score was Evadale 6  HI  5...Evadale scores in the bottom of the 7th to win the game after HI had taken a 5 to 4 lead in the top of the 7th. Great game!  Both teams are playoff bound.

I was at the game through the middle of the 5th inning so i missed all the fireworks and the Rebels comeback. I can say this for the Cardinals...They were the best team that the the Rebels have faced in district and I believe that they will be one of the three playoff teams from the district when all is said and done.

thanks for the compliment very much appreciated i believe we will to we just have to learn how to finish a ball game no matter what sport it comes down to how well you finish and we just didnt finish this game... but evadale kept there composer and did congrats cant wait till we play again....

I think you have great kids in HI. To go through what your kids have been through this year and to come out swinging (pardon the pun) will make them better men and women in their adult years.

It would have been easy to fold the tents and pack in the year, but to the credit of the coaches, kids and administration you all pulled together and pressed on.

Championships are great, but fleating...character lasts a lifetime!
