bronco12 Posted March 18, 2009 Author Report Posted March 18, 2009 I think Walters is probably the best pitcher as far as velocity goes and dont know who else you could fit in our lineup.we are pretty good 1-5 in the order and then it drops off a little.So I dont know what you mean by the lineup or rotation.
JS Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 Frank had some tenderness in his bicep--probably from lifting. The doc said not pitching related but he needed 7-10 days rest from working it the reason for the time off---velocity will be there Friday night

In baseball alone you don't have to be throwing 90 to be a great pitcher you need to mix it up and keep hitters off balance. I threw mid 80's in high school way back when in 4a and it proved to be successful enough to let me play college ball.

Gametime23 Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 When I got to college I added velocity I threw consistantly upper 80's to low 90's and could reach back and throw mid 90's. Kids in high school need to work on hitting spots then start adding velocity. 92-95 right down the middle will get crushed later on down the road.

Threw 6 innings against Navarro on Wed. Â 2 earned, 1 unearned, no decision. I think he's figured out that it ain't 19-4A anymore. Â ;D
