bkatdog Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 Jasper wins 10-0 in 5 to even up in district at 2 & 2. Derek Sowell pitched a complete game for the win. This was first game without junior short stop Tyler Ernest who is out with a hurt knee.
SetxFootball Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 Good job Dawgs!! Keep up the hard work.
j_dog Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 A freshman, Tyler Bolton. It seemed to have worked. How long is Tyler to be out?
bkatdog Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 You can not replace his quiet leadership, above average hitting, leadoff potential, and very steady play of a very good middle infield of him and Soisson. Tyler will surely be missed but will be in the dugout to help the younger players. Good luck and get well soon.

Hes out for the season. darn! > That could be costly for the Dogs. Then again, in 2007 Jasper had a player go down for the season, and ended up winning state in a record breaking fashion. Tyler, take care of yourself and get well. Dogs, kick it up one more gear and go!

Cleatiux (just butchered the name im sure) was good, but I think Ernest was more of an anchor to this team, making his injury a little more costly for the team. Jasper can still def. make playoffs though, just got to have the other older guys step up.
