Bronx Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 I've seen KP and BH play. I think BH is the better team this year, but I must admit that KP didn't play as well as they are capable last night. Not taking anything away from BH, but KP was not at their best. It will be fun watching this district play out this year.

Guest rambleonus Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 True that. But that is the type of pitching we hit well......uugh except for last night. ??? Its not every night our 3,4,5 hitters go 1 for 9.
Bronx Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Kudos to the BH pitcher. He pitched a great game. But once again....KP has seen AND hit pitching like they saw last night........wasn't their best performance in my opinion.
BHFAN Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 The Fans my get a little excited ,but BH knows that on any given night you can lose a district contest. Baseball is funny like that! One bad night or even one droped ball or error can cost you a game. Goodluck BH!!

One bad night or even one droped ball or error can cost you a game. Goodluck BH!! Well said! BH has a lot of baseball left to play and we have some tough games ahead. If we stay focused we'll be okay. We're playing some pretty good baseball right now but we still have room for improvement. Just keep working hard boys!
EAGLE07 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 I think most realize that this district is much more competitive this year....and anyone can be beat. I.E. CE King was beating BH 8-3 before falling 11-8. BH beat GP 6-5...with GP's tying run tripping around 3rd base.
Guest rambleonus Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Well said fellas. This is going to be fun!
RIP09 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Bottom line. If you don't play well, you will probably lose!

EAGLE07 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 [quote I agree The only question we had was our pitching and the pitchers are answering Pitching was only a question because of what ya'll lost. I've been around Peterson for years...no surprise that he can throw....possibly the best slider that I've seen...."JR's" in '07 weren't too shabby either , Burditt...hardest worker around...Burditt threw a masterpiece against a 21-yr old Texas Ranger select team one summer, showed me all I need to know..No surprise there. Mitchell, Daniel, it's been years, I saw Daniel as a 80-pound, 10-year old dominate. He's been under the radar. Rocha...what 6'4" ? If someone gets Rocha throwing downhill, BH will play a #4 seed in the opening round. Just Eagle's 2 cents.

Guest eagle0911 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Doesn't much matter what kind of endangered species BH puts on the bump as long the "BLUE MOJO" continues to build. One game at a time.

EAGLE07 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Man, I totally forgot about Baker....big, strong kid. I pm'd another poster about him. Baker has been very effective in the early going.
RIP09 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 I would agree. Baker has done a very good job in relief. He has pitched very well.
