Gabe Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 We all know Amir Jalai, Tim Barry, Kirby Bellow, Matt Hicks and Jacob Felts. Who are the best next level players nobody talks about? The players who weren't thought of to be stars yet are making names for themselves this year. Maybe over-achieving or simply just don't get talked about as much. Maybe they are the perfect role player who just does his job and doesn't worry about the stats. Lets give some pub to the players who won't be a MVP but if your team lost them, wins would be hard to find.
EAGLE07 Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Colby Henscey--LF-Barbers Hill Heath Padgett-CF-Barbers Hill
braves24 Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Luke Rhodes should get more credit from BC and also Grant Encalade who is a clutch hitter.
vidor pirate Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 chaz bruce-vidor excellent fielder and hitter, and yeah he pitches too

Gabe Posted March 31, 2009 Author Report Posted March 31, 2009 Taylor Thompson-LCM Very good one, exactly what I was looking for.
BCcardbacker Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Luke R. and Dylan M. get very little recognition, especially in BC's local paper, but they are both solid at the plate and both are great defensive players.
East TX Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 I have been impressed with the play of Anthony Cessac of BC. He has just-- willed-- himself into a producer--both on the mound and at the plate. He is the kind of lad with the sometime overlooked qualities that helps a team shine in the playoffs.
Go Horns Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Logan Hughes (sr) and Kael Jones (soph) of Kirbyville both hitting around .500 for the year. Good solid team players.
braves24 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 Luke R. and Dylan M. get very little recognition, especially in BC's local paper, but they are both solid at the plate and both are great defensive players. I was also gonna list Dylan but he is just a sophmore and will be playing 1st next year with Snyder gone IMO
