adminbaberuth Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Nederland sits at 5-1 while Lumberton is at 3-3 in 20-4A Lumberton can play. They can swing the bats, but in district play defense and pitching will get you in the post season and Lumberton lacks that at this point. Raiders probably get a bunch of Bellow's as the Dogs have Ozen later in the week.
thefan2 Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Lumbertons tougher than their record shows. Those boys can hit. Im gonna take a chance and say Lum. 6 Ned. 4 IMO. we will see
Guest baseball25 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 i THINK LUMBERTONS PITCHING IS BETTER THAN THERE HITTING......against Livingston they scored 1 run, against vidor no runs, and against png no runs......there averaging 2 runs a game against the descent teams in the district thats not a good hitting team...There pitching has been better than there hitting...
espn2 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 This one seems to be a no brainer. Nederland would have to really show up flat for this one to even be close. In my opinion the bulldogs have now shown they are the class of the district. After the heartbreaking loss to PNG they thumped LCM and Vidor at their places and haven't looked back. I see Ned 12 Lumberton 0.
