Lazeek Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Masters week kinda gives me a chubb!!!!!! ;)  This is the 2nd best golf week of the year for me!!!! Nothing beats the US Open though!!!! I expect a ton of shuffling of names but when the dust settles I expect Tiger to be at the top. Although it will not be easy, he will trail on the back 9 and then play the final 9 in record setting fashion for the victory!!!!!!
Guest spinks Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 I agree that it will be tiger. It is going to be cold windy and very very very long. That is good for Tiger. If this were a PGA championship I may not go with Tiger because it evens the field out with the easy set up. This set up will be maybe the toughest all year. GOOOOOOOOOO TIGER!
AggiesAreWe Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Any of you guys willing to make a bet with me on this? You guys can have Tiger, I'll take the field.
Guest nostradamus Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Way to jump out on a limb AAW......what is that.....like 200 to 1 ratio?? Even w/ Tiger's winning % it is still 70% to 30%

Even w/ Tiger's winning % it is still 70% to 30% Well, you guys were so quick to say Tiger would win, I was just seeing how confident you guys really are. If you need odds, I'll give them.
AggiesAreWe Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 BTW Nos, it's not 200 to 1 ratio. More like 85 to 1. I think the Masters field is no more than 90.
Guest nostradamus Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 yeah, yeah, yeah.......c'mon.......you know golf is my second sport ;D
AggiesAreWe Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 yeah, yeah, yeah.......c'mon.......you know golf is my second sport ;D From what I have heard, a little bit of work could result in you being a player. ;D
Lazeek Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 No matter how good Nos gets he will still only be 4th best in the family!!!!!!! ;D ;DÂ He is still not as good as spinks, me or his dad!!!!!!! ;)
PURPLE 4EVER Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 The win at Bay Hill was HUGE for Tiger, but I think if you are a betting man you have to take the field.
Gabe Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Well I'm not a smart better so Mike, same wages as last time?
AggiesAreWe Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Well I'm not a smart better so Mike, same wages as last time? You're on Gabe. It's guys like you that has allowed me to not look seriously for a job. ;D I appreciate you and some pigeons over at the Isle of Capri for their generosity.
1989NDN Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 I will never bet against Tiger Woods. Â He is an amazing talent. Â A terrific role model and young man. Â Based on what Tiger did at the US Open last year (on one leg) and his win 2-weeks ago at Bay Hill, how can he not be the choice to win and wear another green jacket? Put me down for Tiger Woods. Go Tiger. Â Peace.
Gabe Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 Actually I'm smart at it but I like off-wall wagers like this. I was smart enough to take UNC and the over wasn't IÂ . Alright, I have Tiger and you have the PGA TourÂ
PhatMack19 Posted April 9, 2009 Author Report Posted April 9, 2009 There are some pretty good scores being turned in this morning. Tiger still at E after a few holes.
Guest JoesBros Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Going to be interesting to watch Tiger today. Looking forward to watching online while im working. No boss button like they had for the ncaa tournament lol.
baddog Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 I didn't know them older guys could play competitive golf. : Perry and Cabrera paired in the final round. Will Mickelson and Tiger play together, or will Tiger get someone like Kim? It will be nice to see the dedication to Seve Ballesteros who is suffering from brain cancer. What a great player he is.
Lazeek Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Tiger and Phil at 12:35 central time. They will be on #2 when TV coverage begins. I would love to see Perry win, but I think that Furyk will be in the mix deep into the back nine. Furyk or Perry and I will be happy, although I do like Cabrera as well.
baddog Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Lazeek, it's easy to figure the pairings for the top two leaders, but what happens at the log jam of players tied at 4 under. Do they draw names? If the winds are favorable, I like Campbell's chances as well as Furyk.

I could be wrong but the I believe it's the 1st one in the clubhouse that post a score would break the log jam.
