AJ25 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 i'd love to see the rangers make a deep playoff run, but not if it costs the astros a place in the standing. pick it up stros!
bullets13 Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 rangers win in 10 against the 'stros! i wish we could get a series against them every time we started to struggle! the rangers are 5-0 against the 'stros this season.
bullets13 Posted June 20, 2009 Author Report Posted June 20, 2009 The rangers are struggling right now. their lead is down to a half game, and they lost a game tonight in the 11th on a wild pitch.
bullets13 Posted June 26, 2009 Author Report Posted June 26, 2009 after struggling for awhile and losing their lead in the division, the rangers appear to be turning it around. they've won 3 in a row, and they've scored 21 runs in their last two games.
bullets13 Posted July 1, 2009 Author Report Posted July 1, 2009 after losing the first game of their series, the rangers won the last two against the angels to pull to within 1/2 game of the angels. the angels have been incredibly hot lately, so this was an impressive effort. tonight the rangers blew a 6 run lead, including giving up 3 in the 9th, but won it on a walkoff HR with two outs by Hank Blalock. what a game!
Ty Cobb Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Very exciting game but I would have prefered a 7-4 victory. Hopefully the RANGERS can keep improving and make a real push for the playoffs.
bullets13 Posted July 5, 2009 Author Report Posted July 5, 2009 the rangers completed a three game sweep of the rays tonight. talk about huge! they've now won 5 straight.
EAGLE07 Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 the rangers completed a three game sweep of the rays tonight. talk about huge! they've now won 5 straight. and Hamilton should be back soon. Made rehab start yesterday.
bullets13 Posted July 9, 2009 Author Report Posted July 9, 2009 The Rangers took 2 of 3 from the Halos IN cali, so they have now regained 1st place after trailing the Angels for a couple of weeks!
bullets13 Posted July 29, 2009 Author Report Posted July 29, 2009 the rangers are HOT right now! They've won 7 of 8, including a sweep of the Bosox. they've also taken the first two in a series against detroit, who absolutely destroyed them earlier in the year. the angels have also been on fire, so it's a good thing the rangers are playing so well or they'd be 6 or 7 games back right now.
bullets13 Posted August 3, 2009 Author Report Posted August 3, 2009 the rangers had the major league debut of 21-year-old Neftali Feliz in relief. he struck out the first four batters he faced, and retired all 6 batters he faced. he routinely hit 98-99 on the gun, and cracked 100 mph on five of the 30 pitches he made. sweet!
evadalerebel4life Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 the rangers are impressive and look to me like the rays of last year. and should make a good run in the playoffs ;D
bullets13 Posted August 17, 2009 Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 the rangers are impressive and look to me like the rays of last year. and should make a good run in the playoffs ;D they're a long way from the playoffs! still, they took the lead in the wild card yesterday by taking their second in a row from the bosox!
bullets13 Posted September 19, 2009 Author Report Posted September 19, 2009 the rangers have scored a total of 1 run over their last 43 innings. talk about a bad time to tank!
bullets13 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Posted October 5, 2009 all in all, a fantastic season for the rangers! 12 games over .500 is the best they've finished in a very long time. they're an extremely young team, with a bright future ahead of them. had they not had a ton of injuries, they would've contended for the wild card, and they still managed to compete in both the wild card and division races into early september. i'm excited to see what they do next year.
