AggiesAreWe Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Ms. Walters is obviously in Saveat's corner, but she makes a great point. I would like to see the list of all the applicants.
Stang Hoops Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 I guess she burned a few bridges with that one. I would love to hear Coach Rice's response the next time Mrs. Walters calls him for an interview.
Lazeek Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Ozen is such as big time job that a whoping 10 people applied for the job!!!!!!!!!! : : :
team first Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Great article Mrs. Walters She is rt on the point, which is sad but true (for bisd)
Guest nostradamus Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Ms. Walters should look into the issue of nepotism. That would explain why BISD didn't just give Saveat the job. By opening the job and going through the process, they now have documentation that they felt Saveat was the most qualified candidate. This, in turn, alleviates any pressure that could mount from those who may cry that he only got the job because he is related to the AD.
shorttexas1 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Thats true Nos... But she took the opportunity to air out the other coaches in the area.... WOW!
Guest nostradamus Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 I agree....not right either. I was just explaining why I thought they opened it up if, in fact, Saveat gets the job.
NHS83LU87 Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 I think Nos is dead on....you have to go through the process and do things in the appropriate manner. That way noone has a gripe later. Saveat should get the job. He's paid his dues. There was no reason to put the other coaches out there the way she did.
