adminbaberuth Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 The Port Arthur News NEDERLAND — The Nederland Bulldogs had no problems taking apart the Lumberton Raiders on Tuesday night. Nederland strummed Lumberton to the tune of 10 runs on nine hits and that all came in five innings. Defensively, Nederland was just as sharp. Kirby Bellow went all five innings, he struckout seven and allowed just two hits and zero runs, giving the Dogs a 10-0 victory. With the win, Nederland moves to 10-7 overall and 6-1 in District 20-4A where it is in a three-way tie for first place with LC-M and PN-G. Trey Terracina went 2-for-2 on Tuesday with a double and a homer. Nick Cardenas was 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and a single. Cody Laird also had two singles.
