yes the field will be ready.. now for the new concession stand it is suppose to be ready but the foundation hasnt even been poured yet so we will see how that goes..

I am sure your boys are wishin you would stop giving the Hardin team anymore motivation than they already have to begin with. Let's put this game in perspective. First, this is the teams first game with the new field, second, they dedicated the first game to their fallen brother Chris Pate(god rest his soul) and Villemez is going to wear his jersey that night. Third, this is Hardin's best group of talent across the board without a doubt. Maybe you should be wise and just wish both teams the best of luck.

Guys, don't take anything anyone has to say seriously. They are just supporting their team just like we do. Bragging rights don't begin till the clock reads 4th qtr, and 0:00 is left on the clock. Lets just hope for great sportmanship on and off the field, come out and support your favorite teams. Here is the latest on the field....so far the drainage has been installed and they are almost complete with the spreading/leveling of the limestone. I can't wait to see once they start laying the turf.

From what I understand, they started laying down the turf yesterday. When I can, I'll go visit the field and get a few pics and upload them on here for those interested.

Here's the latest image taken today. The field is completely covered in turf and now they are doing the hash marks and numbers.

Will be the Hornet logo in the middle of the field and "Hardin" in one endzone and "Hornets" in the other.  Letters in blue outlined in white.
