LamarStatesports Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 The Lamar State College-Port Arthur softball team will travel Thursday to Brenham for a Region XIV doubleheader with Blinn College. The Seahawks are 7-23 overall and 5-13 in conference after losing both games of a Monday non-conference doubleheader in Tyler against the University of Texas-Tyler junior varsity. Blinn (37-8, 13-5) was ranked No. 9 in the nation in this week's NJCAA poll. In their last four outings, the Lady Buccaneers lost twice to San Jacinto and then swept a doubleheader against Angelina College.
