SilsbeeD Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 cmon now our first team allowed 12 points...we were up 54 to 12 when the subs were tossed in
L-Town Stunners Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 ANYTIME YOU GO INTO THE RESERVATION, IT'S GONNA BE A TOUGH GAME IF YOUR THE VISITOR. PN-G --- 28 SILSBEE -- 24
bronco1 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 i wish we had subs  Ya'll don't need subs' date=' them boys looked like they could play 2 games in one night. [b']PN-G by 10.
jacket87 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Indians are just tough at Home. Silsbee will play well, the RB will have some good runs, but the PNG D will be too strong overall. PNG wins this one 21 - 14.
Tiger90 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I think a big concern for the Tigers is the fact they gave up 32 points to a very weak team. The Raiders were 2-8 last year and this year the highest they are picked is 4th in a district that includes Wheatley' date=' Kashmere, and Worthng not exactly traditional powers. Despite this I think Silsbee's offense can create plenty of fireworks that will lead to many wins. In the end though PN-G will be too much. Silsbee 24 PN-G 35[/quote'] For a sportscaster you should know the facts about games before posting this nonsense. There is no "concern" get your PNG shades off for a moment. What was the Silsbee side supposed to do keep the starters in during the fourth quarter when they were up 54-12? We would then be hearing how Silsbee was unsportsmanlike and ran up the score. This week will be a good game regardless.
Ltownpitcher21 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 im with jacket87 pn-g is one if not the toughest teams to play at home in our district. it will be close but PN-G will take this game 21-7.
-Central_Jaguars Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I will make a statement that I made when WOS was playing Dayton in their stadium and I gave Dayton the edge because they were at home and bronco1 jumped all on me about home field was ludicris. Home field does made a difference and PNG will take advantage of it and win this game. PNG by 12
Guest Wildcat 08 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I think so to. I have always heard it's very tough to win there.
AshlyHasBeen Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 No shades here, I'm not saying Silsbee wasn't much better than Sterling. I saw them in their scrimmage against Nederland, the D was very impressive. I should have made my statement a little clearer, I was trying to refer to the depth compared between the two schools. By the end of the game some of the reserves will have to step up and that's where the Raiders put up their points. Back when I was in HS Newton came to our place and outplayed us for the 1st half two years in a row but in the end PN-G wore them down with the numbers. I do realize the 1st unit only gave up 12 points, thanks for calling me out though, I enjoy talking back and forth on these things. Trust me this is a very dangerous game for PN-G, it's our game of the week, I believe the Tigers could still compete for a playoff spot in 22-4A and should advance out of their killer district.
SHS-84 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I am really looking foward to Friday Night Football at the REZ. I've never been there. You guys remember that old commercial with the Indian that had that huge tear drop rolling down his face at the end? That was so sad. I'm not looking foward to that part at all :!: At least he did'nt have on a purple shirt though. That would have really been sad. Man! Now I don't think I can go at all. OH WELL!!! Silsbee 28 PNG 14
Guest Bridge City Card Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 PN-G by 10 is my new prediction. Just can't see Silsbee beating PNG anywhere, sorry.
SHS-84 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 You might have been wright about that except for the secret weapon. That's wright sports fans Silsbee is taking off their visors this week also.
SHS-84 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Sorry, I had to say that. The artical about the visors just cracked me up!!!!
Guest Bridge City Card Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Good one. You got me.
SHS-84 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 One day away now. The weeks are always to long in football season...
JMay Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 PNG 24-7. The Indians will grind this one out methodically. Should be too much for the Tigers, but I'm hoping for the upset. Sounds like this should be the best match-up this weekend.
Mbooyazz Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 Hate to say it, but Silsbee is a 3a school, and should not be able to win this game. I think they will be in it until the end, due to no passing game by PNG. But, Silsbee dont have much of a passing game. It is hard to run on Fischer's defenses. WOS, on the other hand, is probably the only team in this 3a district that could compete with the likes of PNG. This will be a good game early, but PNG's depth will play a role late and pull away from Silsbee. PNG 24 Silsbee 7
