Greywolf Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 I guess I see things differently. I thought Coach Foreman displayed unprofessional behavior by exploiting the students and criticizing his athletic director. Isn't that the person responsible for making sure the facilities are in good condition? I was sorry to see Coach Foreman use this venue to air his complaints. On the other hand, he and his team have seen a tremendous amount of success and I wish them well!
Maverick12 Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 it wasn't unprofessional, it was the truth. From what i understand the AD has tried to get something done, but is dealing with a not so educated school board. If you don't want the truth spoken don't put yourself in a position to be spoken about
AggiesAreWe Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 I am pretty sure that Coach Foreman had Dan Ray's blessing on what he chose to talk about in that interview. Was it unprofessional? That's debatable. I can see how some would think it was if the interview went from giving kudos to the athletes in what they have accomplished already to spouting off on the school district and it's falicies. I didn't think it went that way, personally. I got to get to know Coach Foreman at the 21-3A track meet and I came away very impressed. He has about 8-9 phenomenal athletes over there but he also has coached them very well and has utilized each one to better enhance the team as a whole. Super job, Toby. I am looking forward to covering the WOS team along with the other local school's regional qualifiers at the regional and hopefully the state meets.
