Probably was, because the split had just occurred and the SLC was one of the few to stay behind at first. Then you would agree the SLC move to I-AA was stupid dumb stupid beyond stupid dumb stupid. Can you imagine where the slc would be today? UNT, La-Tech, Arkansas st would not have left. Maybe the SWC teams left overs might have joined instead of going WAC. And best of all, no SHSU.

Look kittykat, Lamar's athletic program as a whole has outperformed Dan Rather State by a margin so wide your thimble brain couldn't begin to comprehend. Its best if you just hide out on campus in nowheresville.

And everything is cyclical, the tide is turning. Sort of like the Galveston hurricane of 1900, the great storm is off the "Dan Rather State" coast and no one knows its coming in until it's too late.
