This morining at 8 am in the Hardin Jefferson library senior Marc Garrison began meeting with several teams looking to sign him to play ball next year, Garrison a two year startin baserunning specialist has led the team in stolen bases, and most runs scored without getting a hit...he has been in contact with coach gilligan of lamar since the end of his sophomore year about a potential scholarship....but met this morning with Rice,Sam Houston,SFA,Blinn, and has a 12:30 meeting with Harvard...(johny harvard's baber college in south philly)...

it was said he cancelled his appointment with the University of Houston and when asked why he was quoted as saying "i heard the pitchers there are taught to throw like girls"....

Garrison however remains uncertain about his intent to play college baseball...he is currently taking offers and weighing his options at the moment.

we will be updating Garrison's status in the weeks yet to come and wish this young man the best of luck!

When asked how he felt about tonights game against WOS Garrison stated:

" You know Im feelin pretty good and the legs feel alright...Its been a bit of a rough ride this season but I think we are startin to work the kinks out of things as a team...we've had a tough time finishin games all year but I think tonight we are goin to turn things around...I mean Marc Garrison is only one man and can only run one base at a time, It takes the other 9 to actually play the game..."

...the interview was cut short so Garrison could make his 11 o'clock fungo golf t-time before his meeting with Harvard...

we'll see how the cookie crumbles tonight in West Orange!
