Evadale hosted the Lumberton Raider JV squad this evening and the Rebs came away with an 8-1 victory.  Sophomore Dustin Potts pitched 5 solid innings for Evadale and "Rex" Landis closed out with 2 stout innings himself, striking out the side to finish the game.

Coach Williams obviously was working on a few things taking advantage of this non-district game.  The Rebels bunted often and it seems they were working on their "small" game.  On rare occasion Will would let the Rebs swing away but no doubt he had some things he wanted to work on.

The Lumberton squad was a well disciplined bunch and looks like they have some good "coachable" players coming.

Good job both teams...Congrats Rebels.
