I obviously don't know details like you do about the program there,but maybe they need an energetic young coach with something to prove. It wouldn't hurt that he was from a top notch area program either. It didn't seem to hurt your career any. Just a thought.

No, no, no. You are right, it did not hurt my career at all.  I just know that if they don't get an AD in there that actually knows about athletics, particularly division I sports, they will fail miserably...No matter WHO they hire...There are only TWO sports there and the guy has NO CLUE whats going on with either of them...BAD situation there....No dorms, no dining hall, an AD who has no clue what fund raising is, and having to compete in division I juco. That is a recipe for disaster.
