HERE IT IS BOYS!!! 

In the 1995-1996 school year the Hardin-Jefferson boys basketball team defeated the Beaumont Central boys basketball team 99-88. 

HJ lost to Hempstead in the regional semi-finals.  That team should have been state champions.......LOADED!!!  Kenyon Spears senior year.

CASE CLOSED!!!

Man I thought I was at that game and HJ lost... I remember Spears going for a wide open dunk and slipping on a wet spot in the court.  I am glad he did not get hurt.  But I swore that HJ lost that game!

No he wasnt much of a dunker... That is why I was surprised but it was an open court play.  He never left the floor though because of the wet spot... If you see him ask him!

Kenyon's senior year HJ was loaded and they should have won state, but its like what happened to silsbee. Everyone has a bad game! (and yes, I had to bring it up!)
