Guest spinks Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 why is this such a big deal Are you kidding? This effects the kids of this school district from top to bottom. The way BISD has handled this is ridiculous. It has been complete disrespect for the coaches and for the student athletes. This may lead future teachers or coaches that would be great additions to the BISD family to stay away from this district. As a tax payer in this school district I am sick at the way they have handled this.

The kids are going to play for whoever they choose, because they will pick a good coach. Ozen has a crew of ballers coming through there for the next 4-5 years for sure.

If it is for the good of the kids I am all for it but that is not always the case and you know that! Well not always, but would you rather your kids have a quality education AND be involved in a quality program? Really. Thats the issue, especially in Houston, which has allowed for schools like Strake Jesuit to get more kids...Its an EASY decision for most parents..I am simply going to follow that blueprint plan at my place...get kids that WANT better. THEY REALLY DONT, DOVE!!! And this situation will not help either....If Savaet is not named the coach, Decarlos Frank is GONE....and then the other returners will follow suit...Mark my words. He will be in Houston if Savaet is not in place, and thats a fact...Where exactly, I don't know, but he will have to say no to me if he decides to head up I-10 West!...
