THEY REALLY DONT, DOVE!!! And this situation will not help either....If Savaet is not named the coach, Decarlos Frank is GONE....and then the other returners will follow suit...Mark my words.

WHere can deCarlos go???? Houston Private school or something?

Please don't sleep on my contacts and abilities!!!! :D :D....Hmmmm, Decarlos has a cousin that happens to play for the Celtics that I happen to know, that happens to have a home in HOUSTON, that happens to have another guy that works for him, that happens to have played on our state team that happens to be close to Decarlos, that happens to me as well.....dont sleep.. ;)

Talk about rambling... All you have to say is P, then T...

Who said I was recruiting? ::) ::) I was just speaking hypothetically....You know...IF... ::) ::) ::). I want our school to have numbers..student numbers, not just athletics... ::)..I gotcha though...its appreciated. ;)

Ah,  I was trying to allude to this matter yesterday about prep schools and getting kids from the *hood* to attend. Will a kid like D. Frank have the discipline to attend your school? I hear rumors the kid doesn't attend classes on a regular basis. I think the kid has too many distractions and maybe too many hangers-on. But he will need to figure it out for himself. Rules baby!

Okay, this opens up another discussion as to why D. Frank would attend a prep school? Grades? Exposure? Extra year to develop?

grades and exposure... honestly i really dont matter what school he goes to if he cant be coached

I agree, this is why I said yesterday, discipline will be the key to this young man's success. I've seen him in the gym numerous times and he does have an effect on the younger people. There were times when I wanted to go over and talk to him but it's my understanding he has a lot of older people already talking to him. I think he has a good heart. The key is finding the vehicle that works best for him and his comfort zone. I remember Stephen Jackson from Lincoln heading to Oak Hill Academy. I had the attitude that why is he going to Oak Hill? Can't he be successful at Lincoln? Sometimes, kids need to get away from their distractions in order to focus on more important things in their lives.

Hope this situation doesnt end up like the one down in p.a. Two very talented young men, who have tremendous upside...Hope the distractions( whatever that means ) dont get em...A little discipline goes a longgggg ways....A 4 year degree, especially when paid for, can be very beneficial in todays society, even if the career ends after college life is over!!!  better to get it together late, than never...Good Luck!

Yeah, and your grandmother lived about 3 blocks from me too.....sheez! My sister was *good* friends with coach's brother at one time........  Oh man let me stop. We're almost related :-X

But you were a little whipper snapper (I've been in S.E.Texas too long..talking just like'em)
