The really sad part is that if they drop athletics, enrollment tends to drop. In turn less students means an eventual uptick in tuition prices. While they might save the $96/semester now, future students will likely end up picking up the tab at a higher rate. Might as well call it New Orleans Community College now.

Knucklehead TexasTerror is saying on katfans that SELA and Nicholls st is cutting a few sports.

They can't cut too many sports if they want to stay D1.

I counted Nicholls st with 14 sports. SELA also with 14.

Nicholls has 15 and SLU has 16 presently. Would be nice if some of you guys learned how to count and understood the intricacies of track and field.  ::) They have nothing to worry about with numbers, because with the SLC adding sand volleyball, that'll keep'em in check.
